I am a proofreader and editor with more than 20 years of professional experience.
In those two decades, I have edited books (both fiction and non-fiction), news articles and magazines, screenplays, stage plays, graphic novels and many, many websites.
I've also written a lot of articles.
Short form news articles. Long form features. And articles in between. Blog posts and Explainers? I've written those, too.
I've covered a variety of topics for newspapers, magazines and online outlets. I also type at 120 words per minute, despite having ignored every instruction given in typing class.
My work has appeared in The Ottawa Citizen, The Ottawa Business Journal, The Escapist, The Kingston Whig-Standard and many other publications.
I have a print journalism diploma from Algonquin College, where I was assistant managing editor of The Algonquin Times. My work there netted me two second-place awards from the Ontario Community Newspaper Association for Best Student Feature Writing and Best Student Photography, respectively.
